Beginner Ballet  Students begin learning classical ballet steps, basic barre and center floor, with technique to prepare them for success in dance. Jean Marie Dance Studio firmly believes ballet is the foundation behind the most successful dancers. Students will begin to learn the language of dance and the functions of the stage while building strength, flexibility and self confidence. Finis Jhung technique is the cornerstone of ballet instruction at JMDS.

The class will be working on beginner tricks and flexibility, for example: Splits, extensions, back flexibility, walkovers, different forms of handstands, and more enhanced tricks as the dancers improve, building upper body strength and flexibility.
